Baby Supplies?

Im a first time mom... Can some one give me a detail of things required to care for a babe? Please ,if you could, break the list up into two groups ( Large items and Items I can achieve ahead of time ( like Diapers).... Thanks!!

Answers:    After getting so tons gadgets and gizmos within anticipation for our daughter these are the things I can't do without:

An infant to toddler carseat (obviously necessary) not an infant delivery service. They're just so bulky carrying around.

A swing for a colicky kid.

A sling. So you have two free hand.

Diapers diapers diapers- Pampers brand only. Huggies leak on my daughter.

Onesies and footie pjs. Cute outfits are only cute. But they never wear them and they procure dirty and grown out of too quickly.

Thermal underwear type unloading blankets.

There really were no massive items I needed. I absolutely NEVER used my shifting table. It stayed packed up. The crib, my daughter never slept contained by until she was seven months antiquated. We coslept before that.

A stroller... eh I use this seldom. I usually just get my daughter.

A highchair is ok... but I didn't use it until she was seven months.
Things that you necessitate no matter what:

Diapers - You can buy ahead of time, but I wouldn't acquire a lot. I would try adjectives different brands, until you find ones that work for you. Diapers seem to fit different children different ways. We intuitively use Luvs. We would have used White Cloud, if they didn't break out our son's bottom.

A coup¨¦ seat - I guess this depends on your lifestyle. I am a minister's wife, so I loved the delivery service with the underside, because I could take it near me to sleep my son in at church. (Or Bible study, or ladie's dark out....)

clothing-wise, again, it depends on your lifestyle. I had four sleepers to get going with, and several onesie outfits beside pants. I in actual fact lost count, because people give us so many of them. I would hold preferred a few more sleepers, but what we had worked out.

Lots of bibs - babies spit up adjectives the time. That way, you are varying bibs, not clothes. (Like I did.....)

As far as big items, eventually you will need a crib. Some those start the baby contained by the crib right away. We used a bassinet for a while, but we had to start sleeping our son contained by his car form, because he had GERD and needed to be elevated. He didn't sleep surrounded by his crib until he was six or seven months elderly.

We really like our stroller. But, we live surrounded by a small town, and I walk everywhere. Even to the grocery store. And, it help get rid of kid weight if you stride.

We didn't use our swing very much. My son didn't close to it. But, some kids love them. Maybe if you have one you could borrow from a friend, you could find out.

I reckon that anything else big you wouldn't really need. Maybe, again, if you have a friend you could borrow from, you could see what you would really use. Things like stir centers and bouncers are really nice, if your child likes them. Not adjectives do. A lot of people be aware of more comfortable bathing their little babies in for a moment baby tub. I did.

And, one item I didn't think of but a friend sent me: Medical stuff/other stuff. Thermometer, nasel sucker-outer entry (I don't know the official name), Tylenol (Don't use until you've talk to your doctor), baby swab, shampoo, diaper relief liniment, gas relief drops, Dreft (Laundry soap for newborns), infant powder, baby lotion, toddler nail clippers. All things I wouldn't enjoy thought of until I needed them.

I know this is a long list, I hope it is compliant.
Let's see...Large items: Crib (our baby slept within it from like the first week on), varying table, stroller, carseat, and a swing. We didn't use our high stool until she was approaching 5 mos so you could wait on this if you want. We used a newborn bath tub but I know of other mothers who did not use one, but I found it to be handy.
For the smaller items: diapers, wipe, diaper rash cream, lots of spit cloths, footie pajama type sleepers are great, I don't know if you are breast feed or formula feeding, toddler bath and lotion, newborn wash cloths (softer than reg.), you might want pacifiers but not everyone uses them, blankies, bibs for adjectives the drool and spit up. And gas drops and infant tylenol. Congrats!
