If she is almost 8 months pregnant, how did she not know until now? I think that is too far along the abort, you should try adoption.
In the end it is your wife's choice, but you have to ask yourself what did that child do wrong? Did it choose to be conceived or who it was conceived by. There are so many loving couples out there that would love to adopt that child. The absolute worst thing that can be done is make a rash decision.

How did she not realize after all that time that she was pregnant. you need to talk to her about that, because that is sounding a bit shaky. Why would you want to abort? what small gap? If you had an already born one-year-old and two-year-old, would you kill one of them? Of course not! Why, then, is the child in the womb fair game?
