ok i asked a question pretty much the same as this but didnt get alot of replys so im askin again just addin a lil more info... im on tricyclin birth control, and have been for 6 years (except for 2 breaks in between when i decided to have kids) and its never been too strong or not strong enough, and ive never had any problems while being on it...untill now! my periods are pretty regular usually getting them on the weekend after i finish my pills and last month it was like a week late, then now this month i got it like a week and a half eaarly, but its sooooooo light, and its like a reddish brown instead of bein dark red like usual, last month was really heavy this month almost not even there, and ive had lots of cramps too, do you think i might be pregnant due to this? and if i am bleeding a bit if i took a urine pregnancy test would it work properly? what else could this be? urine also been darker lately.

Anything is possible. You should take an at home test. I think you will okay even though you have your period. If the test comes out negative, take another one after your period. Buy a two pack. Spend the extra money to get a better band, like EPT. I was always regular when I was on the pill and I never got pregnant on the pill, even when I missed a pill and took it as soon as possible. If you still have problems and both tests come out negative and you still feel like you may be pregnant, go see your doctor or planned parenthood if you don't have insurance.
I have had this problem a couple times while on the pill, too. I notice my period coming early if I miss one pill, or it coming late if I'm dehydrated. Make sure you're getting plenty of hydrating fluids each day, and call and talk to your doctor if it keeps happening. If the dose is really low, and has been the same for 6 years, maybe it time to up the dose slightly.
I doubt you are pregnant, but don't hesitate to test to be sure. It sounds like you're having break through bleeding from the hormones not being strong enough for you anymore. I've had this happen to me and it doesn't count as your period. When you take the green pills you'll still get your period.
