My daughter is expecting a little girl ...? Is Ella a nice name for the baby?
Answer:
A really popular name is Nevaeh. Its pronounced like "neva (never)" or nee-va and its heaven spelled backwards..i think thats cute
I LOVE that name! Beautiful. Very ellegant, and feminine, yet strong. It's perfect.
I like it.
Ellie, Anita, Edith, Jessica are some.
Ella is the cutest name. How about Chloe? Or Emma? I still like Ella the best.

Ella's an awesome name. =) But it's up to your daughter and son-in-law to decide.
ELLA IS A PRETTY NAME..AMANDA, JESSICA, TIFFANY ARE SOME OTHER NAMES....
I think Ella is a beautiful name. I have three boys but if I ever get a girl one day I would love to name her Brooklyn Isabella. Good Luck to your daughter and congrats on the new grand baby. Merry Christmas =)
I also like the name Nevaeh. It's Heaven spelled backwards. Pronounced Nuh-Vay-Ah. I noticed someone else put it also but they are pronouncing it completely wrong..lol. again Good Luck.
I like Ella, you have to also think about how it sounds with the last name together. Stella is also a nice name. I love the name Rebecca and Emily too but both are very popular now.
I love that name. Ella Rose, Anna Rose, Anna Clare, Erin Leigh, Chloe Lynn, Sarah Anne or Saralynn.
My cousin just had a baby a few months ago, and she named her Ella. I think it's a beautiful name for a little girl, but I've never thought it fits an older lady.
I love it. For a compromise, suggest Emily, Emma, Eleanor, Elsa, Elisa, Ellen... something closeish. It would help to know why he dislikes the name- too old fashioned? Doesn't go with their last name? Had an evil ex-girlfriend named Ella?
My baby cousin is named Ella Marie. I wasnt sure about it at first but it fits her and I love it now. I also like Lillian (Lily), Katelyn, Emma, Anna, Grace. my daughters name is Hayley so of course I love that name too
I like that name it's very pretty and sweet.

I have a 3 year old and wanted to name her Olivia, but my wife wouldn't. Ali , Madison and Kelly are very pretty names, am pretty sure that you will find one. Best of Luck
Ella is a cute name but i think they should call the baby Navaeh

Ella is a pretty name, but how about Eva, Alexis, or Seven.
i think its a beautiful name.
How about Gianna. It's beautiful. Sounds like Gina, but not as common! Snap it up! :)
Congratulations, Grandma!
What's in a name. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.
Actually, Ella is a name that a lot of people associate with a dumpy little Germanic chambermaid.
'Elle' is a good way around it. It sounds French, alluring.

Nizhoni --> It means "pretty/beautiful" in Dinè, aka Navajo.
-- "ni" like in "nick".
-- "zho", I'd have to post a small audio file for that one. It's a little hard to describe. Like the "z" in zebra with "though" without the "t". :)
