How hormonal is too hormonal when pregnant?
Answer:
Your dog may be feeling protective of you and not scared... Other than that, it sounds like you have a lot on your plate right now. Take a breath and know that your crying and your cleaning are totally within the realm of normal for a pregnant woman. You obviously need a break from people who just don't get it.
Those hormones can make you feel like you are going crazy and that everyone is against you. Just know that it too will pass and soon you will be holding that precious little gift from God in your arms. Then you won't even remember those raging hormones.
There are a lot of emotions that come with being pregnant. If things are really bad, I would speak to your OB about it. If it's just a bad day, then tomorrow start new and do something you enjoy that will either make you happy or help you relax. Good Luck!
you'll be fine, just take one thing at a time. i'm 28 weeks right now and sometimes the smallest things make me snap or cry. and when i start crying, i can't stop. just try to take it easy and not upset yourself. stress is not good for you or the baby.
It'll get better girl!
Just relax, its hard but Im 28 weeks pregnant and I snap at everyone it doesnt matter who or why. I also get into the cleaning spurt when I clean like theres no tomorrow. And people know you are pregnant and hormonal so they think they can push you around, ive noticed it with my family anyway, but they think by making you upset it will shut you up. And really it just hurts your feelings and makes you 10X more angry at them. And with the dog, maybe it sensed that you were having a bad day and were irritable. Animals can sense things like that, Ive had days that I didnt feel well and my cat wouldnt leave my side, he even tried to get into the shower with me. Then there are other days he doesnt want anything to do with me and hides all day long. So I know where your coming from there. I think you were in the right on telling your mom off today. I dont think anyone should talk like that to their child, just do the best you can with your children and tell your mom if she doesnt like it she doesnt have to be around! Good Luck and God Bless you!!
How far along are you? In my first trimester, I thought that I was losing my mind. What you need to do is be active about keeping your mental health in check (this is what I had to do.) There are a ton of books (or websites) with simple little meditations that you can say to yourself to keep cool. Also low-key exercise can help A LOT (walking, stretching.) Avoid stress- like your mom. Put yourself first right now. Phone a friend. Have some ice cream. Pet your dog. When I got to my second trimester, it was like a veil lifted and I felt so much better. Hang in there and remember you ARE in charge of your thinking, you can do it!
you sound like me
