To watch the children and that is it. For that much pay I wouldn't even expect them to make the kids pick up after themselves. The babysitter should just be making sure the kids arent doing anything to harm themselves or others.
Just keep them out of the street.
Sit in your house and make sure they dont die. That is not a lot of money How many kids are there? I hope she doesnt do your dishes or clean your house or anything not worth it. You should also make sure you have dinners prepared for her and the kids.

If that is in the US, about all that could be expected is that they would call the fire department if the place caught fire.
It would be illegal to work a minor that many hours because it would interfere with school.
I have a hard time believing any adult would work for slave wages . . . unless they are an undocumented worker and being threatened with the INS.
An Egyptian upper class couple was doing that in southern California . . . they are in jail now.
I wouldn't expect her to do anything. Actually I think she eat your food and leave your house a mess. Maybe you'll learn a lesson and pay more. That is sad... Remember you get what you pay for. Do you care about your kids at all?

i wouldn't expect her to feed the kids, cuz the money that she's getting won't pay for it. all she'd do is watch TV and do whatever she wants. cuz it's not worth watching kids with that pay. that is ridiculous.
$1/Hour per child is very cheap. On average, good pay is about $3/Hour per child. And don't expect the baby sitter to do much. All you are hiring them for is to watch the children. However, if you would like them to clean, etc., more pay is expected.
