When I was on the pill before I got pregnant I really didn't have any side effects what so ever but know I am on the same pill that I was on but I have been moody and emotional. Is is possible that since I was pregnant, that the pills would have a different effect on me know post pregnancy? I hope this wasn't too confusing. ( I had my baby 5months ago) Thanks for the help.
Answer:
Not confusing at all, and I would say that yes, you could be responding differently to your birth control. Remember that these are hormonal, and 5 months is not long enough to recover from the hormonal rollercoaster your body has just been through. I think that in time you shouldn't have problems with your birth control, and you should talk to your doctor just to be safe or if the moodiness does not go away or gets worse.
Also consider the possibility that the birth control is not to blame. You could be developing postpartum depression, or as I said earlier, just recovering from the changes you went through during pregnancy. Good luck.
