That is the rub isn't it? Keep in mind though, murder is a legally defined term, not a moral one. You don't murder someone in self defence for example. Back to your question. Third trimester. Essentially if the fetus can survive on its own outside the mother's body, it is a person. A mass of undiferentiated cells is not. If you go earlier than that point, you are starting to get into debates nobody really has the answer to.
And even to that question, if the child being born will kill the mother, is it not murder to let the mother die? And who should be making that choice?

i say it is murder because from the moment the child is concieved in the womb it has a soul and a spirit a living thing so its taking a life why would anyone want to take away something that God has blessed them with

There are a lot of reasons why a baby shouldn't be carried to term. It's between her a her doctor.
First, those who are "pro-choice" do not necessarily condone abortion. I am a Catholic conservative who is pro-choice. I do not condone abortion and to use such wording is rather insulting and a trivial understanding of the issue. Many of us who are "pro-choice" believe that no one but my family and I should make such momentous decisions for us, but us. Not you, not the Church and certainly not the government.
If you are "pro-life," as it sounds like you are, do you support the death penalty? At what point do you decide which lives are so worthless that they should be murdered? Blessings.

ABORTION IS Murder any way you slice it. You are killing a living breathing thing. We do not know if they feel the pain that we all can feel that are alive. I tottally sicke of people using abortion as a form of birth control. There as girsl that i went to high school wiith "graduated in 2000" that in 4 years had 3-10 abortions.
If you kill any living thing its murder plain and simple. Abortion should be illgeal and if you want to have sex use protection either pill condom foam or something.

Anyway.as far as I am concerned it is murder and abortion is just a euphemism. With our newfound ability to detect pregnancy as early as we are now able to do, it would seem to me that there is very little justification to wait past 6-8 weeks to terminate a life.
In a perfect world abortion should not exist, but in the sad world that we now live in I do not believe that totally outlawing abortion is the answer any more.
Women have totally lost sight of the sacred power that they were gifted with. They have bought into the idea that bringing home a paycheck, no matter how small, is more important than being a mother. Pitiful.
Abortion is murder. Look at the pictures of aborted babies that are everywhere on the web. Look at their sad little faces. Faces that should have been cuddled in a soft blanket float in formaldehyde in a bucket. Tiny hands reach out as if seeking some warmth, some comfort. There is no warmth and no comfort for these little ones, I wonder where their little souls go, those denied even the love of their own mothers. It is too sad to even think about.
As I have said so often before, if a baby is not safe in its mothers womb then where is it safe? The answer is that it is not safe anywhere in the world. A sad, sad, fact.

This is obviously a very controversial topic and always will be. However I feel that it should be a women's choice to have an abortion. So many factors are a part of a decision like this. I feel that the earlier the better if a women choses to have an abortion. I'm talking like the first month of pregnancy. I feel it is better to terminate an unwanted preganancy than to give birth to a child that is unwanted, that may be abused, neglected. I feel that a women should not be allowed to have as many as they want and use it as a form of birth control. I think that once the embryo is formed than it's not right. You know mothers have the choice to bring life into the world, raise a child how they want, and have full control for 18 years over their life, why should a woman not have a choice if maybe she had sex with a condom and it broke, maybe she's a college student, maybe she was raped....I believe that option should be out there. I know there is adoption as well. However what if it's a health risk to mother and she accidently got pregnant. There are too many senarios to have the abortion issue be a black and white issue. Maybe their should be certain guidelines to regulate if a situation would constitute the right of as woman having an abortion, however everyone's judgement is different.

Abortion is murder no matter if it's legal or not. It's wrong. The baby inside you is a living breathing human.
Once the baby is viable outside the womb it would be considered a person to me. I don't think that abortions should be allowed legally past 6 months - unless it would cost the mother her life.
I don't know that I would ever consider abortion 'murder' .
My focus is on the children that already exist in this world. In the great USA there are millions of children that are homeless, that live below the poverty line with no food!
I look at countries like Africa and India and the HELL that those people live in. Personally, if I knew I was going to bring a child into this world and not be able to provide a home, food or an education I would abort it 100 % of the time.
I stay on the pill because we cant afford another baby right now. Thank God I have access to the pill & I can afford it.
Just because your body CAN produce a child dose not mean that it SHOULD.
No matter what the situation, this is my motto regaurding abortion.
