That certainly depends...Kayla's answer, 5 years is not considered "older". These 50 somethings and the 20 somethings are a different story, I think they look ridiculous together and maybe happy for the short term!

i don't know, my husband is only 3 years older than me, and i find that we both think we're irritating sometimes...lol
Age means nothing. My dad & step mom (who is my mom in my eyes) are 11 years different in age, with my dad being the older one. They have been married now for 24 years, and together for 26 years. And in my case, I am 6 1/2 years older then my husband of 7 years.
Whos to say what works, or doesnt work? Its all in how you both see one another. Who cares what others think. If the love is there, then why not!?
Well, I can't speak for everyone, but my husband is 19 years older than I am (he's 48 and I'm 29) and we have been very happy since the day we met 11 years ago, and we have been married for nearly 8 years.

I think that it depends on the individuals involved rather than their age. Everybody that says age is only a number are telling the truth... you can be an *** and immature at any age, young or old so you have to really just get to know the person and go from there.
