What is wrong with?
Seems simple and logical to me.
Answer:
selfish people who probably want the benefits cheques not the baby
Nothing but it's taken as a negative connotation, it depends on how it's said
Me too, but we aren't the majority. I think men could be included in that too. Mandatory vasectomies for all deadbeat dads!
What ?
Forget asking, I think it should be law!!
thats seems perfectly fine with me...if u can't pay for the ones that you have already, why bring more babies in to this world just to live a hard life?!?!?! it doesn't make sense to me, but i completely agree with u!!
You ever try to have an intelligent conversation with a breeder? Won't happen. Sorry.
Depends on your relationship to the women.
If you're a stranger.it's none of your business.
If the women is your wife...then by all means, have the talk.
I'm pretty sure men contribute as well.
Nothing is wrong with saying it, but you have no say-so on other people's reproductive rights.
Nothing . If you need welfare to support your kids, STOP HAVING MORE!
you know. that's about the smartest thing I've ever heard. while we're at it why don't we ask all men that know they would walk out on the mother of their child to wear a condom or get a vasectomy?
This seems simple and logical to ME.
Nothing, they just get offended by it. It's like telling someone they are not good parents, or put a cork in it. But seriously I believe if they can't support them or take good care of them properly they should have kids.
Because it's none of your business! and rude as hell! If we all waited until we could afford our kids, no one would have any, except rich people, who have no morals to teach their kids. I'm guessing your parents had money!?
NOTHING! Too many people these days are having 3,4 or more kids and cannot support them. But Jane and John Doe have not been so lucky. They have no kids and the means to support half a dozen. The welfare of our children in the United States needs to be top priority. They will be the ones to lead when we are gone. I am not for taking away kids from their mothers but there definitely needs to be some laws and regulations that would apply to the well being of the innocent children.
In this country, we have freedoms. Freedom to have kids or not. If you start taking that right away from one group, you have to take it away from all women. And I can't have that happen.
This bugs me too, but heres my 2 part answer. 1-mabee its a cost of perscription birth control or money issue of some sort, 2 I think the big thing is that some people that aren't well off feel the need to have someone depend on them. Alot of these people rely on social programs, and sub-conciously need to feel that back. A baby is dependent on its mother, and I think that is a big thing, to really feel needed by another human being.
what you said, even if she would get hurt, is probably th best advice you can give a friend. There really is no way to say it nicely..but kudos for being that friend to show the reality.
I think if the government didn't provide food stamps, low income housing and free health care to people like these they would think twice before having another child. These children put a strain on society and it's not fair to hard working people whose tax dollars pay for the care of these kids.
My cousin had two bastard kids and got all her medical bills paid for by the state and now receives help to pay for food and rent. i on the other hand am a college graduate with a good job but sometimes I can't afford to buy my prescription even with insurance. How is that fair?
very logical, i have custody of my daughter and recieve no support from her rich momma, i work 3 jobs to take care of us, women and men should support their kids in some fashion, but it does seem that men get bashed on far more than women for the same thing, im getting screwed completely makes my blood boil to read some of your answers women bashing on men were not all bad, welfare should be outlawed, make them work just like i do,..... great question
i agree with purpledragonfly... if we all just aborted every child we couldn't afford, then what would the world be. Obviously, you must have been fairly well off to have views such as these. I am not on welfare but I also don't believe in abortion. I do understand that there are some bad seeds in the bunch, but that can be said about anything. Let us be happy that someway, somehow these women are taking the responsibility placed upon them with or without the help of the government! And let's not forget that low income mothers don't go around impregnanting themselves. Obviously you were raised by two parents. Why fault someone for some lame guy's irresponsible behavior? Let's think before we speak, shall we!
I think its wrong to asume that just because someone is on welfare that they don't work and don't pay taxes or try to take care of their own children, in some areas of our wonderful country, the cost of living is more than what most people make, I know of a community where almost 60% of the people are on welfare AND WORK-with or without kids, b/c the jobs just don't pay as much as the bills.
And as for putting a limit on women having children, you should just move to another country if you believe in that, if these women still have their children than the state thinks they are fit to have them, so why would we want to stop a loving mother from having her children? and if you have ANY children at all you'd see that no matter how many you have they are expensive, and if you wait until you can afford to have them no one would have them.
