What can I do to make my daughter eat ?

She is 2 and for the last few days will not eat anything at all.
I have tried everything, even her favourite stuff.
She had a few injections the other day and has been gumpy and unhappy ever since..

Answer:
Children will not starve themselves. Offer her a few healthy choices at meal and snack times. Let her eat what she wants when she wants. If she is feeling a little under the weather she is probably just not hungry. Make sure she stays hydrated. If she is drinking, she'll be fine without eating for a few days with no ill effects. Don't make a big deal out of it and don't offer her a bunch of junk food snacks.
if she is hungry she will eat

hope this helps dude
She's probably not feeling very well because of the shots. She'll start eating again when she feels better. Just make sure to give her plenty of liquids. They all go through stages of not eating much. She'll eat when she gets hungry.
Most children go through a couple of days of not feeling well after getting shots. Just be patient and she will eat when she is hungry; you should never force a child to eat. If it becomes more than a few days, and you are worried, call her pediatrician.
Could you put it all in a blender so that it turns into a drink? Would she drink stuff? Just a thought, good luck, I hope you manage to work it out.
Give her lot of liquids. You can give her soups also.

If you are much afraid..better to consult a Doctor.
She is obviously not eating because her system is upset due to her vaccinations....it will settle back down in a few days.

My daughter had a serious heart problem when she was a baby, and when she came home, getting her to eat was a nightmare...she would eat nothing, i took her to the dr's and like your first answer said, the doc told me she'll eat when she's hungry, as long as food is made readily available for a baby they'll eat when it suits them.

My daughter is now 9, she has nothing for breakfast, comes home with all her packed lunch untouched and intact, has a few pieces of plain cooked pasta for dinner and nothing for supper, and thats it, i give her a multi vitamin every day to compensate for any deficiencies... she dances 4 times a week and goes horse riding and trying to get her to go to bed at night is as hard as trying to get her to eat anything, she has so much energy.

My point is, even if it doesn't settle down, dont worry about it, kids will never starve themselves!!
If she continues not to eat then buy all means take her to the doctor. But I can assure you that a child will not starve themselves to death. When she is hungry enough she will eat. I know it seems scary because it has been two days but my kids have done the same thing when they were young and even my three year old does it now when she does not feel well but she always makes up for it when she does start feeling better.
DAUGHTER?? i thought our child was a hermy!/
Don't worry, sweet mommy. It's perfectly normal after vaccinations. My kids always did the same thing. Children that age eat when they're hungry. It's a survival thing. Give her plenty of liquids, maybe popsicles so she won't get dehydrated. Put up with the grumpies, give her lots of love and reassurance. Learn to love the terrible twos. They're not being bad they're just exploring their boundaries at that age. And, they're soooo funny at 2.
how about ketchup sandwiches?? they were great when i was 2. make sure she stays hydrated, and she will eat when she gets hungry enough.
