I exclusively breastfed for 3 1/2- 4 weeks, around what week can i expect my period?

my daughter is 6 weeks today

Answer:
If you continue to breastfeed, you may not get it until a few weeks after you decide to stop. Everyone is different, but if you have decided to stop breastfeeding you can expect it in a week or two, possibly even a month. If you are going to continue to breastfeed, don't expect it for awhile.
different women are different. I started one month after I stopped the "after baby stuff" and breastfed for six months and was very regular. and yet a friend of mine breastfed for two years and never had a cycle during that entire time.
i didn't start my period again until i weaned my daughter of breastmilk when she was 6 months old. when i began to wean her, it took about 3 weeks or so to start my period again.
congradulations on the new baby!
I go tmine at 7 weeks and I was still breastfeeding.
