How many parents of preemies are on?

Hi parents of preemies, I am a mom of a former 23 weeker who is now 4 1/2 soon to be 5, I wanted to say hello to other parents who could relate and would love to invite you all to chat www.preemieparents.org. Lovely community of parents of premature babies and children.

My question is how many of you are still recieving PT, ST, OT into kindgergarten, policy, and have you opted to pass on to kindergarten or hold back based on resorces?

Answer:
My twins were born at 29 weeks. They are now 16.They do not have any ill effects from their premature birth.
They are shorter than i thought they would be. I don't know if that had anything to do with their early entrance into the world.
My twins were a month and 1/2 early. They are 22 months old now. They stayed in the hospital a month after they were born. I had them to the Dr. a few days ago and they are the height and weight of a full term 22 month old. They are doing great. They were never on any heart monitors, oxygen or anything. Thank God they had no problems. I feel for all the parents out there that weren't as fortunate as I.
