Small question about pregnancy tests?

Next time..tell her to pee in a little cup and then dip the stick into the urine. Much easier and less messy. It could be neg. and she could still be pg. If her HCG levels are low..then it would be neg. If she really thinks she is pregnant, she can go to the doctor for a blood test. They are more accurate and can show + much earlier. She could wait about a week or so and do another home test...it might be positive. Are you sure she's pregnant or is this an attempt for attention?
She either isn't pregnant, didn't use the test correctly, or used a test that requires her to have more hcg (pregnancy hormone) in her urine than she actually is producing at this time. Different tests require different amounts of hcg, some higher and some lower. The test that requires the lowest amount of hcg is Answer Early Results. Some women never show a positive result on a urine test, their body just doesn't get rid of hCG in their urine.
Some tests are defective.

If she pee'd in the wrong spot, or didn't hold in in the stream long enough it won't work right. She needs to take another test asap.
But if there was a line in the control window then the test did work., and either she doesn't have enough HCG in her urine yet for the test to detect it, or she isn't pregnant. At 7 weeks pregnant it should have definitely picked it up though.
Well if she really is pregnant...then I'm assuming the test was bad or she didn't follow the directions (which is very important to do). I personally recommend the "First Response" or "EPT." They are a little pricy, but I don't think that should matter.
