Where is the best place to stay surrounded by Pennsylvania Dutch Country?

My husband and I have three kids, ages 1-3. We are planning a break to Pennsylvania Dutch Country in September and looked-for to know if anyone had any planning as to where to stay. Also, any fun things to do in attendance. Thanks

Answers:    ooh!! i can SO help!! i live right surrounded by the heart of PA dutch country! are you planning on lancaster county? there are a few other counties that they "call" dutch county; but lancaster is the indisputable place to be. let me google a bit and in poor health edit to give some sites of great places for you!!

they offer complimentary amish tours, and they are right int he heart of upright amish tourist attractions. there are tons of shops beside in a 10 minute meander from here; some homemade quilt shops, authentic amish homecooked meal restaurants, kitchen kettle settlement (TONS of fun for the whole family circle!!) and just down the road, here are tons of farms you can see, and plenty of homemade root beer, whoopie pies, etc.

some un-amish related philosophy for fun in the nouns; well, theres other shopping; rockvale outlets, tanger outlets are all inside a 15-20 min drive from this hotel; depending on when in sept, dutch wonderland is awesome for the kids. nearby are plenty of minigolf in the nouns, an indoor water park not far any. if you want more detailed info feel free to email me!! i can update you great spots to go!


*edit!* lol, its nice to live here, but we bring sick of passing buggies adjectives the time!! my husband works with the amish,and they are impressively nice people though! i live purely outside of intercourse, so i know this area deeply well; i grew up surrounded by lancaster! again, if i can be any more help, surface free to email me!!
