How long do i wait after painting baby's room?

We are going to paint our baby' room but unsure of how long to wait before we put her in it.Can anyone answer this?the paint is water-based low voc emulsion.Any help would be appriciated many thanks.

12 hours is sufficient, but for the harmless smell it may be better to wait 24 hours. I am a house painter and water based latex paints are harmless.

Not quite sure why it works but put a glass of milk in the room it helps asborb the fumes. My mum done this when we where younger and it worked.

I not kidding sounds silly but really does help.

most doctors would advise to wait up to 24hours or at least until the paint is dry. Hope this helps.
you can buy the non smelling paint but i would wait a couple of days before putting a baby in the room cause paint is tbe worst smell
