Why am I spotting after intercourse?

I had severe cramps lower back pain and spotting after intercourse, my period was a week before and it was normal. The next two days I had the nausea and felt really bad. The rest of the week I still had light spotting, I don't think I could be pregnant-but then I could be. It has been two almost three weeks later and we had a little intercourse, and later that day the spotting was a little heavier and dark brown. I spoke to the Dr. and scheduled an appointment for this Friday, but I am still concerned it can be something serious. Can someone give me some good medical advice.

Make sure your doc does a proper pelvic exam, the symptoms are very suspicious for cervical cancer. If it persists or you develop discharge you may want to consult with a.gynecologist, as the pick up the rare forms of this cancer that a family doc might miss. If you bleed after your pap, more than spotting I would be even more suspicious.
If this was your 1 st and 2 nd time that is part of the possibility and it will be nothing.

you could be pregnant. I always had that problem tho i alway spotted for 2 days after having sex..i think its something to do about a soft cervix or something like that. But I actually was pregnant last time so good luck.
He might have irritated your cervix caused some abraison and you have a little infection because of it. Good call on seeing your doc.
sometimes your period does not clean you out properly and when you have intercourse and your insides contract it releases some of the left over stuff not much to worry about but its a good idea just in-case to get it checked out either way to be sure
