What is the difference between Indentical, Fraternal, and Siamese Twins?
Answer:
Identical twins are identical same sex babies.
Fraternal twins are babies that shared the same womb and are born within minutes and they can both be boys, or both be girls, or a girl and a boy.
Siamese twins are conjoined twins, meaning they are not separate from each other and can share hips, or legs, or arms and even hearts and other internal organs, and there was just a case recently where the baboes were attached at the tops of their heads.
Identical = monozygotic or 'one egg' so mom ovulates and releases one egg and for no good reason at all it splits into two different embryos
Fraternal = when mom ovulates she releases two eggs at one time (again, no known reason - but it COULD be hereditary) and two totally different people are born at the same time...they are the same as regular siblings
Siamese = identical twins who do not make the split as well as they should have
identical twins came from one zygote, fraternal from two, siamese are attached in some way

Identical come from the same egg that split into two children and are identical
Fraternal are two separate eggs that where fertilized.
Siamese are identical twins that didn't completely separate and are conjoined.
Identical have the same genes, same egg split in two.
Fraternal are two different eggs
Siamese is an egg that only partway splits in twain.
Identical twins look exactly alike and have the same DNA. Fraternal twins may look similar but don't have to. Also fraternal twins could be one boy and one girl. Siamese twins are twins that come out attached to each other. I believe the egg splits into two and that is how a fraternal twin is made. Otherwise identical twins will be in the same egg.
indentical- they look the same (the egg splits after being fertilized)
fraternal- don't look the same (two eggs are fertilized at the same time)
siamese- they're attached to eachother (no idea)
Fraternal twins are no more closely related then other siblings. You get fraternal twins when 2 eggs are released and fertilized.
Identical twins are one egg that splits after fertilization.
Siamese twins, also called conjoined twins, are identical twins that the egg did not split completely
indentical- they look the same, and are same sex. the egg splits completely after fertilization.
fraternal- can look differently, be different genders (or same). Came from 2 eggs that were fertilized at the same time.
siamese (or the politically correct, conjoined)- look the same, same sex, and they're attached to each other. came from the same egg that didn't completely split like it does with identical twins.
Fraternal twins come from two different eggs, identical twins come from the same egg, it just split in to two and Siamese twins are joined to one another.
Identical are always the same sex and came from one egg and one sperm.
Fraternal can be either the same sex or different sex. They come from two eggs and two sperm that got implanted at the same time.
Siamese are identical twins that are also known as conjoined twins. They're bodies are connected.
Identical, or maternal, twins grow from a single fertilized egg that splits into two early in development. They are genetically identical.
Non-identical, or fraternal, twins grow from separately fertilized eggs at the same time. They are no more related than other non-twin siblings.
Siamese, or cojoined, twins have part of their bodies fused together and may share limbs or organs. They're called "Siamese" twins because there was a famous pair (Chan and Eng) who were from Siam.
Identical or monozygotic twins are formed from one fertilized egg (one ovum and one sperm) which splits after conception into two identical halves which develop separately. Each identical child (always the same sex) will have the same chromosones and many of the same physical attributes. Identical twins will also share the same blood type, eye and hair color.
Fraternal or dizygotic twins are formed from two fertilized eggs (two ovums and two sperms) and can result in two siblings of the same or opposite sexes. Your likelihood of having fraternal twins is dependent upon the woman carrying a fraternal twin gene and can also be affected by heredity, race, marital age and number of children previously borne. One-third of all twin births result in same sex fraternal twins and one-third are different sex fraternal twins.
Siamese or Conjoined twins are twins whose bodies are joined together at birth. This happens where the zygote of identical twins fails to completely separate.
Idential twins is one egg that splits after fertalization, Feternal twins are twins that are 2 different eggs that get fertalized at the same time, and siamese twins are idential twins thats egg didnt completelly split all the way
