A girl should start wearing deodorant when she starts to smell, which usually starts around puberty time when the hormones are changing. I think I was 10 or 11 when I used deodorant in the 70s. The famous Ban roll-on that was wet was what my mother used and I just used hers. Girls can use any deodorant, preferably one that doesn't leave white marks on your clothes.

I got my fist deodorant when I was 9-10. I am 13 now... So my mom just got me Teen Stick. I still use it to this day! :) I wouldn't recommend getting white deodorant only cause it shows.(obvious..)
