How long did you wait after having a baby before you had sex again?

How was the wait for your husband?
Were you scared to start up again?
PS. I know you're supposed to wait at least 6 weeks

Answer:
5 to 6 wks. There is nothing to be scared of. I don't recall my husband having that much of a problem w/waiting, he was as exhausted as I was, 'cause I made him help me with all the round the clock feedings.
6 weeks waiting was terrible for him no i wasn't scared but I didn't care to have sex again but knew I had to
5 weeks with the first one ( a bit uncomfortable) and 7 weeks with the second child, knew it was better to wait.
i waited 3 weeks. breast feeding is not birth control-as long as you use another method you can have sex as soon as you feel like it.
i waited 6 weeks.
yes it was hard for him.
yes i was.
You should talk to your OB before returning to intercourse!! Though there is other things you can do to please your man.
It was only three weeks.
My husband was very patient, it was I that couldn't wait.
6 weeks like u said
6 weeks is what the doctor usually says. However, it is excruciating for your partner to wait that long. I don't think my husband could ever wait. (we had 2 kids) We always ended up trying before the 6 weeks. And it hurt like mad! It felt like you were being cut down there. But you know...
I had a C-section and waited about 4 weeks or so.
it was like 2 weeks lol
After my fourth baby i only waited about 2 1/2 weeks but that's because I felt good. Go with what feels right for you...but don't rush into it...you are actually suppose to wait 6 weeks until everything is healed up but if you feel ready then go for it!! It was a little hard for hubby but hopefully your's is understanding-for gosh sake a baby just came out of you!! If your hubby is in desperate need-there are other ways to please him rather then intercourse! Good luck!
For my 1st one (vag. birth) 6weeks. But I did have stitches. So that had to heal first. The second one 9 weeks. I had a section and a tubal. My hubby was scared to hurt me, and I wanted to make sure the tubal had healed.
After my first baby I took the doctors advice and waited for 6 weeks.
My second, I waited for 8 weeks, due to the fact i was still bleeding.
( I am not in to letting my husband swim that river)

But it is all up to you. I would give my body time to heal but then again that is completely up to you. Just obey your body signs. If you feel you are ready to start back up again, then by all means DO IT. If not, then wait.

My husband understood each of my decisions. He dealt with it just fine.
2 weeks after first child
it was uncomfortable, but I wanted it. husband was fine

6 weeks after second child
Learned the first time. Other ways were used to satisfy both of us.
I think it was 3 or 4 weeks I had a c-section so I was kinda scared at first that my cut would just split open but after I got adjusted to it,everything was just fine, lol!
We waited the 6 weeks and it felt kind of awkward. So, we waited another week and then it felt okay. My husband was so busy with our new baby that he didn't miss it too much. He didn't complain about having to wait and before we knew it, the 6 weeks had gone by.
with my first baby i had sex within the 1st week and 9 months later came a little girl.. i just had another baby about 2 months ago and this time i waited 3 weeks.. just take precautions!! my three kids are living proof to use birth control if u dont want another preg. so soon
