Depo makes you gain weight, but it's very possible that's she's pregnant. I know a girl who got pregnant while on depo. Tell her to take a home pregnancy test with her first morning urine.

She needs to see a Dr that is not normal nor is it necessarily a sign of pregnancy it could be something far more dangerous. Get her to see her Dr ASAP.
doubtfull she is pregnant while she is on depo. if she has been regularly getting her shots. altho speaking from personal experience having been on depo for 7 years urge your friend to get off of it and use nuva ring or just regular BC Pill...depo is so harsh on your body, and if she does want to get pregnant AFTER being off of it, it takes anywhere from 12 to 18 months just to get pregnant. as well as it been known to cause teeth to fall out, growing of facial hair, and osteoperosis *sp* all of which thankfully have not happened to me except the softening of my bones. the only other way it could be possible is if she got pregnant BEFORE her depo shot, granted they test at the drs office, but those tests are just like the ones you could buy at the store. i would suggest she goes in to her doctor. good luck
its true that its possible to get pregnant on the depo, but surely it would be more apparent towards the lower part of the body rather than the upper stomach unless she is very heavily pregnant
