Any suggestions on how to get a nanny job? (Maryland-DC area)?

I have been looking on the internet, and found a few companies, but I wonder if there is an inside scoop I dont know!

I actually have found some amazing jobs (all the ones I've held that I like in fact) on craigslist.org
People post privately for jobs that they want filled so you can read about it and interview with the family themselves.very effective since it gives the opportunity to fine the place YOU want to work and communicate directly and show them you personality and desire to get the job immediately vice going through and agency.
Also great if you don't have alot of skill in this area and are just starting out:)
You should look in the yellow book, or even try in the gazzette(i live in the maryland-dc area 2)
Advertise and market yourself
