Oh wouldn't that be so amazing. But no, they are there for life, like a scar. Just think of it a memory of pregnancy, lol
Usually the marks will stay although it gets lighter as time passes by. One way to avoid or minimize stretch mark is to apply cocoa butter lotion or lanolin cream or even aloe vera based lotion with calamine combined. These type of lotion or cream can ease up with the itching and minimize the marks at post partum (post delivery). Also, don;t forget to take good care of your teeth. Your calcium deposit will be severely depleted at post partum.

Exercise, eat well, less stress and do your best to stay healthy. These all adds up to your well being and the baby, as well.
Some stretch marks do fade, especially with age, but the health of your body, and skin, and how big you get, will all have a bearing on how many appear. Lots of vitamin e, and excercise and those that will disappear do. Sometimes, however, they just won't. Those you can do little about.
no .. but once you lose the weight they will dim .. if I tan you can't even see mine unless you like put your face in them haha and they are just little bitty lines! Lotion up and don't scratch! :) Also I have heard that putting baby oil in your bath will help .. I never tried because I didn't think that sounded appealing ... but if it's worth it to you.
LOL no they dont they fade most of the time..which that takes some time..bu they are like scars there for life..but once you have the baby you dont care anymore they are worth it..atleast to me they are>
stretch marks don't vanish unless you apply stretch mark lotion on it... it'll only lighten...
I've had 2 kids and I was huge with them. I got a few stretch marks and they are almost naked to the visible eye now. You'd have to be up really, really close to see them. With one pregnancy they actually got worse after the birth but I panicked for nought. After a while they to faded to almost nothing. I did moisturise my skin a lot while I was pregnant in the later stages though. I'm not sure if that helped but I didn't want to risk not doing it. Something with almond oils and vitamin e is good for skin elasticity. Good luck with your new bub. Hope all goes well.
no, they fade, but come back worse with more children
itching doesn't necessarily mean you're going to get stretch marks so don't worry already but NO.
Unfortunately stretch marks never go away but usually fade over time.
Sometimes you can make them fade faster or prevent their appearance in the first place by using stretch mark creams to make the skin as good as it can be.

Some people never get any even when they've had 3 kids and are in their 50s and have never used lotion.

Some people get them when they grow during puberty or for no apparent reason.

Some people get them regardless of using lotion and find they don't seem to fade. There's no telling.
No..they don't. They might fade some but they are there to stay.
No, I wish. That would be nice. But that is why they have laser surgery to remove stretch marks. Some creams may help slighty to lighten them, But they dont go away.
