I'm throwing a baby shower for my friend. I've never done this before so i'm clueless about what's appropriate. I was thinking about giving out jars of homemade jam and maybe a biscuit-in-a-jar or something. any other ideas? any good recipes? please be specific.

at my shower there were homemade chocolate lollipops. you can buy the molds and chocolate at arts and crafts stores like Michael's or AC Moore. i know i've see pooh bear molds and they also have rattles, bottles, saftey pins, things like that. good luck!
How about those bear shaped bottles of honey? Add a ribbon-muffler around their necks that have the party date and name of the honoree written prettily on it
