I own departed work nearly a week ago to start uni but I found out I'm pregnant.what benefit can i claim??

I left work 5 days ago to start university contained by september. (so at this moment im unemployed). I left work due to working for 5 years at like place and wanted a break until that time i start uni. However, coulpe of days ago I found out im pregnant. Im really confused as im unemployed, i do want to stir to uni but it will be difficult as i would like to spend time beside the child. Is there any support or benefit i can claim. Because im gone down i dont think i will be entitled to Satutory parenthood leave. Can some one lend a hand me on what i can do and who i can contact. I havnt told the uni about this.

Answers:    If you not here your job consequently you may not have any claim to benefits, but if you be just taking a vaction/leave you may still hold some chance. You inevitability to check your individual plan to be sure as each one is different.

If you hold no health insurance and own no job, you can probably claim state benefits for pregnant woman. There is zilch shameful about using state benefits during your time within need. That is why they are in that!
