A friend left child outside at work (daycare). Didn't get fired, should she have been fired?
Answer:
I work at a child care center. At my center, in this type of case, the teacher would be put on administrative leave after meeting with the director and assistant director. Their file would be reviewed with our regional director and our human resource director. If no other instances have happened with this teacher, then no, they probably would not have been fired. At your center, it may not even be the director's decision whether this person gets fired or not.
outside for how long, how old was the child??
It could have been an honest mistake and was there other childen she was tending to??
I dunno about fired but maybe a suspension.
leaving a child any where with out proper suppervision is consider child neglect and it is a criminal charge if the department of human services ever found out she could be charged and if you dont report it you could be charged as well for knowing and not protecting the child
She absolutely should have been fired. There's no excuse for leaving a child vulnerable where anything could have happened to them.
Yes,something could have happened to the child.
