How do I procure the father to be more responsible ?
Answers: I wouldn't put him on the birth qualification, and don't ask him for any money that way hopefully he would only just leave you and the babe-in-arms alone.
If you want any financail help, you'll stipulation to put him as the father on the birth certificate. Otherwise you won't return with anything without a paternity examination later on.
Once he's "the father", he have visitation rights like any parent. If you don't want him involved, you'll enjoy to proove that he's worthless and nothing but trouble surrounded by order for you to win sole custody. Any evidence of drugs or other illicit activities would be nifty. If you are also involved in such things, be aware that he could turn the table on you and get custody.
It sounds to me approaching he's already voiced his lack of interest, so that shouldn't be a problem. His parents may be awfully interested though. It would be a shame to keep your kid from knowing it's grandparents (assuming they are interested and would be loving grandparents).
Good luck.
In some states you can collect support on an unborn child. You need to find out what your rights are as far as child support go. Do it now not subsequent. Get a consulation with an attorney and if you can not afford one phone up the courthouse in your nouns and ask about financial assistance for permissible fees. Get an order of support ASAP.
