Anything from 75-110 beats per minute at week 5 is considered normal--you're baby's perfect. Try not to worry--I know, easier said than done! Congratulations!
My baby's heartbeat was only at 95 at the 6th week. I went in for another dr's appt at my 11th week and his/her heartbeat was 160. No worries... the baby is so incredibly small at 6 weeks that it is easy for them to miss a heartbeat...
According to several of my friends, they had the same thing happen early in pregnancy and they all have happy healthy babies now.

Not to scare you by any means but my daughter had a dr appointment they said the baby's heart beat was low but sometimes it depends on how the baby is laying ,the next week jan 6 2006 she went back makayla shyann was still born she was due to brought into this world on on jan 16 06 but they induced her labor on jan 6 and makayla was dilivered on 1-7-06 it is the most awfull feeling to know you carry the child healthy for lest then 9 day's and find out your not bringing your baby home .so please by all means make them check you out ok in memory of makayla shyann moore jan 7 2006 and my prayers are with you on having a healthy baby to bring home
