I am planning a babyshower for my boss, in the office, any ideas?
Answer:
You can have it at the office it may be convenient for the people that work there. Decorate it but not too much. You can have it catered or have everyone bring in something. During lunch or something gather everyone around to open presents and have a snack.
Ask everyone who wants to participate to sign up and bring in something for a potluck lunch
Have everyone put in money and get one very large item.

I used to be in charge of all the parties and birthdays in my old office and I had several baby showers. I found that decorating with balloons was the easiest as they are easily removed and look very festive. Buy a large card and make sure that everyone in the office signs it... it will be something she can keep as a memento. I have found that a lot of people are uncomfortable buying gifts (unsure of how much to spend, where to shop, what to buy...) If you collect money ahead of time, you can give your boss a gift certificate to a baby store. Because it will be a fairly large sum of money, she'll be able to purchase whatever she needs and might even have enough money to purchase a big ticket item like the crib. Your boss will be very touched!
Keep it simple and Don't forget to give the 'parents-to-be' a gift too...It's important.especially if they are first time parents, OR if they have more than one! It will be greatly appreciated, and THEY will rember it! LOL
Good luck!
