Is a mother morally bound to take a break from work for atleast the first couple of years from Child's birth?

Cant a mom do justice working after the maternity leave of 3 months? How come Dad's never take a long break to take care of the Kids? Why does the society expect the Mom to make that adjustment?

Answer:
Our society now a days has made it really difficult for mothers to stop working permanently or for long periods of time after having a child. I think it's a great thing to be fortunate enough to stay home with your children for the first few years of their life if you want. I stayed home with my son for his first year. But we were poor and could really only afford the necessities. I think 3 months is great there are a lot of women who go back to work after 6 weeks. I wasn't able to stay awake for longer than a few hours at 6 weeks! In the end its all about what you want and what you have to work with. Don't feel guilty b/c it's better that you are able to provide for your children instead of being in poverty and relying on the government.
You can go back to work whenever your doctor says it's OK to do so. There's nothing wrong with using daycare for kids, even infants. And some dads do stay home with the kids while mom is out working for a living. It's not as common, but it happens.
after my second child was born, I took six weeks off and my husband's job gave him 12 weeks off. I thought it a little unfair, I was the one doing the healing. But I left my job permanently after he went back to work. a woman's break after having a baby is not for the child, it's for the woman to get some rest and heal up.
No a mother doesn't have to take a long break and they are not morally obligated and some dads do stay home with the kids. Society does not expect moms to be stay home especially considering how much it costs for everything now days
Up to the couple now a days. Depending on money whether you need to work or care for child. I think people are accepting fathers as stay at home when the mother can make enough financially to care for family.
NO, she is morally and legally in some to provide, food, shelter, clothing, security a stable endowment as well as safety and well being.(feeling Loved)
the mom is the most important person in a child life. i personally would not want my daughters dad to raise her.its how you look at things. i believe its important and i stayed home the first 2 years. im glad i did. if you choice not to i think as a parent you still need to make up that time somewhere.the point being if you spend the time with your child they will be well rounded smart and more important good kids.
