I just want to comment that I think there are lots of teen parents who mature greatly when faced with becoming a parent. The media doesn't report on that so all we hear about is the shitty moms that hurt their kids. No matter what age a first time mom is just that, and just because you are more mature in the ways of the world doesn't mean you know anything about raising a kid. You don't have to be a perfect parent. The end result is to raise a healthy happy child that contributes to society.
