I am 14 weeks pregnant and i am having cramps that get pretty bad sometimes. what could this be?
Answer:
Call your doctor now. While you could be dehydrated, it could be more serious.
Don't wait, please call.
Good Luck.
you could be dehydrated. drink lots of fluid and lay on your left side. if it doesn't stop by doing that then you better see your dr.
It could be a lot of different things. I cramped the whole 40 weeks I was pregnant, but outside of being pregnant I had bad cramps anyways. Cramps could mean you are doing too much and you may have to take it easy, you could be getting ready to have miscarriage (God forbid thats it), or you could just be stressed talk to your OBGYN about it. I wouldn't begin to worry if I didnt have too
It could be a reason to visit your doctor rather than trust your and your baby's health to strangers on the internet.
It could be braxton Hicks (false labor) this happened to me a lot during my preganancy but just to be safe I would call the doctor and let them know what you are felling you might need to be checked out. Labor does feel like the cramps you get but times 100.
Call your nurse practioner.. or the urgent care.
That is not a good sign.
I suggest going to the doctor - better safe than sorry. However, in the meantime here's an article I found that could possibly help you:

It has information ranging from serious to harmless, but it's still best to see a doctor sooner than later.
I had the something very similar to what you are experiencing and it was just all the baby's weight on one side at one time! When your baby weighs half of your body down it will hurt because first of all your body isn't used to carrying that much extra weight and second of all you may have a little hand of foot poking you!! There is also a pain you can experience called "round ligament" pain and it starts in your tummy and continues down to your abdomen so watch for that and you will know its normal!! As a pregnant woman you are going to feel very many um pleasant things and the way I looked at it was that if I was not bleeding or didn't feel the baby moving for awhile (when it starts to move) I didn't go to the doctor..If you have very uneasy feelings though please do because getting checked out is better than being stressed!! Good luck hun..
