How normal is fatigue in early pregnancy?
Answer:
It's totally normal. You just feel beat especially in the later afternoon and then you just can't keep your eyes open in the evening. It will past and turn into just needing to be able to rest at some point. Here's an article about this:

it's very common. It usually eases up in the second trimester and gets worse again in the 3rd. Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. I refer to it almost daily right now and I am due Feb 2, 2007. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck
No, It takes a toll on your body to be pregnant. It is not a cake walk. Maybe eat more greens to give you that extra boost.
it is very normal to feel so tired that u feel like u can't even keep ur eyes open- trust me i know... so take naps during the day when u get home, rest as much as possible, drink plenty of water, take ur vitamins every day, and try not to over do things. u'll be fine, the fatigue usually fades as ur pregnancy progresses. good luck.
Talk to your doctor. It's usually the hardest during the last trimester, but the first trimester is tiring too. The second trimester is the best---you'll enjoy being pregnant here. Check with your doctor anyway!
I was EXTREMELY SICK until my 5th month!! After that, it was smooth sailing...good luck!
I was the same way. I was exhausted by about 2 or 3 in the afternoon. It will get better in a few months. Remember, your body is working very hard making this baby. I've read that your body is working the equivalent of mountain climbing every day, even while you're doing your normal routine. Get lots of rest and take care of yourself. Remember to eat properly too.
Being tired is a WHOLE pregnancy thing...but it is more common in early pregnancy because you are adjusting to the hormones still. Try snacking on fruits, wheat crackers, juice (healthy carbs) to keep energy up. Good Luck! I know how ya feel!
Very normal it's all those pregnancy hormones kicking in. I wasn't just tired but yawning, eyes dropping shut, sleepy for the first four months and then it went away and I had more energy than before I got pregnant. I never got especially tired later in the pregnancy.
No should feel very tired in the first few months. It will ease up a bit when your in your 2nd trimester but then in your 3rd you will get tired all over again.
From personal experience, very normal. I've read that the first and last trimester is when you feel this the most. It was true with me anyway. In the second and third month I would just about fall asleep at the dinner table.lol You may need some prenatal vitamins and take it easy. Always check with your doctor though, if you have these questions. Congrats :)
VERY normal. I am nine weeks now, and since I've been about five weeks, I've been exhaused! I'm normally a night owl and love to stay up late, but I've been so so tired by the afternoon at work and I come home and crash into bed, and can sleep until the next morning. Ugh...
