34 week's the head of the baby is fully engaged what does this mean?

It means he's ready, although labor might not be for several weeks. Even if he came today, 34 weeks is only two weeks early. That should be no problem for the baby. If you've passed your plug, start packing your hospital bag!

I think it means that the baby has turned round ready for the big day!
It just means the baby is i postition. It could be another month -2 months before any labor starts.
Once the head is engaged it means that the baby is in the right position, ready for action. So get plenty of rest while you can! Good luck X

it just means that the head is in the pelvic region ready for labor, yes you could start having labor symptoms any time, mostly braxton hicks contractions which is like practice for your uterus.
If you go into labor now, they will stop it until you are at least 36-38 weeks, depending on baby's estimated weight.

It means the baby's head is facing downwards and has moved into your pelvis ready for labour. If it hadn't you might have been breech which can cause complications as the baby would coe out feet first! Being fully engaged is just the beginning though. The baby still has to move down before you go into labour - they usually record this on your notes in fifths with 5/5 being the one before labour. Sometimes baby's don;t even engage until you go into labour so you're right on track. It can feel quite uncomfortable so take it easy and rest as much as you can. It means your baby is in the right position for giving birth. His/her head is sat in the birth canal waiting to be born. It doen't mean your baby will come early just that it is in the right place and position for birth.

it means your baby is in the right posistion i was engaged at 33 weeks and told my baby was gonna be big(over 9lb) but did not have my baby untill almost 42 weeks and he ws 8lb6oz so i dont think you need to wory to much. good luck i'm sure eveything will be ok

Not necessarily soon. it means the baby is in the correct position ready to come out of their. It could b a few weeks yet.. but its certainly ready.

not necessarily you could still go to full if not over your due date. Just be happy that your babies head is engaged and ready for when the time is right.Ihave a friend whose babies head didnt engage she ended up having a c section as her baby was not in the right position.All the best with the rest of your pregnancy and the arrival of your new addition.
