Ovulation?

do you usually spot on the day of ovulation and do you get cramps when you are ovulating after or before it?

Answer:
I have never spotted on the day of ovulation but I know it does happen to some women. Sometimes I have minor cramps before ovulation. Be aware that you might also have spotting on implantation (this happened to me) - this only happens if you're actually pregnant already (it is the egg settling in your uterus). Implantation bleeding, if it occurs, is about one week after conception.
some women do spot when they are ovulating, but not all women. some signs of ovulation are abdominal/back pains, cramps, discharge, cervical mucus, and increased body temp. the symptoms are similar to your period getting ready to come on, but the cramps are minor and only last for a few min off and on for about a day or two. Ovulation usually takes place 14 days after the first day of your last menstrual cycle.
