When I was pregnant, nobody was happy in my husband's family. My mother was happy and the customers I took care of were happy for me, rubbing my belly and asking me a whole bunch of questions. Now that my sister in law is pregnant, my mother in law who is my husband's step mother rubs her belly and tells everyone. I don't get it, My mother in law told my husband that she doesn't like my sister in law. I feel very upset because I was pregnant twice and delivered twice nobody from his family was excited about my pregnancy and nobody came to the hospital. The only people who came to visit me was my husband and the marines. I do feel jealous, I know, but I don't think it's fair. I was depressed both pregnancies because of his family. They love our children, but what about the early days? Am I crazy about this, or should I feel upset.

First of all, a lot of people don't realize that their actions (or inactions) hurt others. They aren't doing this on purpose to hurt you.
Also, you should think of this another way. Everyone may know that you are a strong person and you can handle things without their help. Maybe your sister-in-law is the type of person who needs a lot more support in order to make it through. You can take this as a compliment.
Maybe they knew that you needed time to be a family and they wanted to give you space...
Try to think positively. No one from my husband's family visited me in the hospital, and we always made it a point to be there when his siblings gave birth. I felt jealous, too, but you can't let it get to you.
Keep your head up! Just look at your kids! Does it really matter who was there, as long as you were?
