I think it depends on the Rh factor. if one of you is Rh negative, then the chances could be that the child might have O negative as a blood type. But if you both are Rh positive, then you will have a child for sure with a blood type of O positive.

Not sure how the O part plays out, but I can tell you that an A+ father and an A+ mother can have an A neg. child. I have one!
We always assumed she was A+ but she is now pregnant and when they did blood typing on her she was A negative THREE times.
The doctor told her that if both my husband and I had one negative parent, then we could pass the recessive trait to our child even if we were both positive. My husband's side we know his father was negative. I do not know about my grandparents. My parents are both under the assumption they were/are positive.
We don't know the full background of my side, but obviously there was a negative somewhere because our daughter IS our daughter.
Anything is possible when you start counting in recessive traits.
