Jaiden or Jayden - Boys name or girls name?
Answer:
That is a more feminine name. For a boy out of the ones you've said I like Ryan for a girl Kayla.
the way jaiden is spelt does look girly but jayden looks like a boys name
Jaiden is more known as a boys name than a girls,
how about
Taylor (b)
Tyler (g)
Rae (g)
Zak (b)
Tamsin (g)
Tara (g)
Amber (g)
I adore the name Kaiden for a boy.. and I love Jaeden for a girl!! but i think Jaeden is definately a boys name too! but i love kaiden so....
I like Jayden. It doesn't sound like it should be for one particular sex, it sounds like both a boy and a girls name. But I think these days, it's more of a girls name. I like Kieron and Kaiden for your boy names, and Sophie for your girls name.
I do think Jayden is a lovely name, but it does sound more like a girls' name to me. I think your suggestion of Kaiden is better, it is much more like a boys' name. It also goes well with your surname.
Just a suggestion for girls' names - I am a teacher and there are hundreds of Sophies around - there are 2 in my class this year, so I wouldn't pick that one if I were you. There are also a lot of Laurens. Kayla is lovely, I would choose that one. Another good one that would go well with your surname is Allana - that is my niece's name and it suits her really well.
Good luck!
Jaiden? That is unique and has a special ring to it. I like this one the best myself.Congrats on your new baby and the best of luck.
jayden sounds cool for a boy, they would shorten his name to jay maybe in school anyway. my son is called jamie and he is known by his friends as jay! id keep jayden. also jaime for a girl what a cool name!
jayden spelled like that is a nice boys name, but not too keen on initials being the same. makes life hard when they start getting mail, mr j hurley how you going to tell them apart. my boy friends got three brothers and sisters and there all C.A.C's not nice.
Congratulations. Jayden for a boy is a definete yes!. It's something about the other spelling that I don't like..maybe too phonetic. You know a name that I like also, Cailou. You know the cartoon about the little boy? I would spell it with a K thou, I really luv K's. My Oldest son's (Joshua) middle name is Kalib. Just another version of Caleb. Best to you and your family.
Christian names have historically always been used for both male and female children. It isn't Biblical but it's something that I've always been comfortable with. James, Mathew, Mark, etc, etc. To each their own.
jayden is much better. it's a boy's name, i think it's the name of Britney Spears' 2nd son.
Don't like Jayden at all (and it is a boys name so dont give it to a girl!), Aaron, Jamie or Ryan are ok, but I don't like rest. How about Harry, Thomas, Jack, Benjamin, Henry, Jonathan, William, Oliver, Robert, Matthew, Daniel... they're not common or wierd.
For girls Sophie or Josie are ok, how about Lily, Phoebe, Freya, Daisy, Maisie, Jessica, Carly, Gemma, Harriot, Olivia, Kirsten, Georgina etc, again all normal and pretty.
Hope you have a good pregnancy a beautiful healthy baby xxx
my son is called Jayden. doesn't sound girly to me.
like kai for a boy, also love tommy (thomas) for a boy. love josie for a girl also love coline for a girl.
I know of two boys named Jayden. Don't know of any children with the spelling that you suggested though.
Jaiden for a girl
Jayden for a boy
of the names you gave
Kayla - girl
Kai - boy
jaydens cute but i c it as quite girly too coz if u shorten it to jade. ryan kieran and kai are lovely names and go well with ur surname and with joshua. same for sophie. what about abigail, bethany, jasmine, caitlin, demi, michael, lewis, bradley, charlie, jake x
Jayden looks more like a boys name
jaiden looks like a girl
I love the name very much :)
kieran is always good
my sons name and nathan is good to thats my other sons name
I like all of the names you have chosen so go with one that you like the most. As for the Jaiden or Jayden name it can be both I have two friends with one each, the boy is Jayden and the girls is Jaiden. Its up to you which way you spell it and for what sex. If you settle on that name though at least you can start calling your tummy by a name before the baby is born and the baby will recognise it when he/she is born then all you have to do is decide how to spell it.
Good luck to you all x
I think jayden is better spelt like this than the way you chose for a boy i love the name timothy for a boy and alice for a girl good luck with baby xx
Jaiden definitely sounds like a girls name. I like the name Devin for a boy. It's different, but won't get him picked on. As for a girl, I like kayla. I also like Haily (that's my daughter's name).
unisex i know twin girls named jaiden and jailyn so i think its cool regardless. My sons name is T'naj
it sounds like a boy`s name and a girls name it`s up to you.
I personally think Jayden(however spelt) is purely a boys name ..
i think its a unisex name, but i think its better given to a girl...i also like the name Kai for a boy.my son's name is Jakai.btw congrats
I think that Jaiden/Jayden is quite feminine. Iike the other names you have though, epecially Kaiden, Kai, Ryan, Sophie, Lauren and Kayla. Good choices. I like the names Hope, Chloe, Mia, and Clarissa for a girl, and, Luke, Matt, Will, and Dan for a boy.
I think the names Clarissa, Mia, Lauren, Ryan, Will, Dan and Matt go with the name Hurley.
If you are having trouble chosing, do joint names, or middle names, eg. Clarissa-Lauren Hurley, or Matthew Ryan Hurley.
Good luck to you and your baby, hope I helped you a little.
I am also pregnant and I don't what I'm having but if it's a boy we do plan on naming him Jayden Tyler. So no I don't think this is a girls name it can be for both but if you look it up they considerate as a boys name. Good Luck!
I think its the way you spell it like jaiden is for a girl and jayden is for a boy!
I like Ryan...I think Jayden sounds more like a boys name to be honest. Sophie is nice.
