How long did it take you to get pregnant after coming off the pill?

I've been on the pill for about 6 yrs. Me & hubby want to try & conceive. Is it ok to stop my pills now? I'm taking seasonique (like seasonale) where u only have 4 periods a year so I don't want to have to wait 2 more months to stop the pill.
How long did it take you when you first came off the pill? Did anyone get pregnant before your regular period came back??

Answer:
I was on the pill for almost 10 years...I went off in March and conceived in May! We were trying to conceive over the summer, and everyone had told us it would take a couple months after stopping the pill...but it didnt! Everyone is different...I wouldnt come off until youre completely ready to get pregnant, and make sure that youre prepared that it may take a couple months. All you can do is Relax...it will happen when its time. I only had one period in between going off the pill and conceiving...Good luck!
It took me two months to get pregnant after being on the pill two and a half years but I wasn't on that type of pill. Talk with your healthcare provider if you have more questions, Good Luck!
I went off birth control at the beginning of July and was pregnant by the end of August and found out in September. I had one period. With my second child I was off birth control for almost 5 months before I got pregnant, but with a little one running around, that didn't seem like that long.

Hope that helps.
well i got pregnant on the pill and his condom broke, talk about fate, but with my next child i was on the birth control pill for a few yrs and it only took me from the day i stopped, got my period and then got pregnant. it all depends to on how fertile you and the hubby are, my hubby its like one shot and we're done baby is made.
It takes two to three months for it to stop working. But i have heard that some ladies get pregnant rite away, like the next cycle after they stop taking the pills. So i guess it varies. I suggest you stop taking them now. It may take you longer since you take seasonale.

Good Luck :)
I came off the pill in June and got pregnant in September. Generally, they say it takes about 3 months, but everything is so individual! With your seasonal pill, I wolud consult a doctor, if you're not sure HOW it works.
WELL I GOT PREGNANT WHILE I WAS ON BIRTH CONTROL WITH MY DAUGHTER, NOW MY HUSBAND AND I ARE TRYING TO HAVE ANOTHER BABY AND I STOPPED THE PILL ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO AND I HAVENT GOT PREGNANT YET. GOOD LUCK
I stopped my pill late november. I just found out I am pregnant. So this means I conceived somewhere in mid december. Fast, huh. good luck!
