How can i find a child that was put up for adoption?
Answer:
You can enter a search in google or yahoo for a registry...some states offer a registry for adoptive parents and kids to register their info so they can find each other...but the registry is only offered to children after they reach 18 yrs. old.
Serch term: Adoption registry
was it your child?
you can look up birth records...they are public. go to the library or the hospital where the child was born.
sorry .
Too late. Should've thought of that before you gave it away.
look through the birth records. Then if this doesn't work you might have to get a attroney to find the records if they are sealed.
You should begin by contacting the agency you used for the adoption. They can point you in the right direction from there! Good luck!
