I have been on the Deprovera shot for 2 1/2 years and I missed my last shot. can I get pregnant?

I was on Depo at one point for over year, and when I got off of it it took me another year to even have a period. So, chances are..until you start having a period again you won;t get pregnant because your body still 'thinks' it's pregnant from the depo. But take a test if you are worried. They are very accurate these days.

who ever told you that is full of S}-{it, any forms of birth control arn't 100% fullproof, i personally know 1 girl who got pregnant once with a condom, once on the shot, andi think 1 other time, but nothing was used.you can still get pregnant using the shot, it does lower your chance, but it doesn't eliminate it, ask your doctor he'll tell you, missing will increase it, and 1 more thing, my girl was on it, when she got off the shot, she gain'd waterweight, and most girls do, fight it quick, or you'll have it for a long time, but missing 1 shot does put your risk a lil higher, how much higher, who knows you may went from 98% down to 94%, but there's no real %'s for it

Well I was "off" my depo shot for less than 6 weeks when I fell pregnant with my first child - so yes, it is possible to fall pregnant that soon after coming off the shot. My cousin is also pregnant at the moment and was only off her shot for 3 weeks!
