Why do people think that abortion is wrong?
So... Why do people think abortion is wrong? Or worse, murder? Also, Why do you get into other peoples' business? Please answer that. What I don't understand is why people get so worked up over abortion. If you think abortion is wrong, just don't have one!
Why do you feel the need to tell other people what to do with THEIR bodies? Why do you even CARE what other people do with their bodies and fetuses? They have a right to do whatever they want. So why do you waste so much time caring about other peoples' bodies, lives, and fetuses? Why don't you worry about your own life? And also, Why won't they just let people do stem cell research?? The woman is going to get the abortion anyway, so... Why waste the fetus?? WE COULD SAVE LIVES!!

wheather it's right or wrong is a personal decision. some people feel strongly about it, and that's fine, but everyone should be able to make their own decisions without critism. much thought goes into abortion, it's not a decision women take lightly. different people think different things are wrong ..smoking ...drugs ..each to their own, as long as your happy
oh - and anyone who says 'i would NEVER have an abortion' have you been in the situation? if not, you don't know what you would do . so don't cast judgement

how would you feel right now if your mom choose to abort you at say 1 month.
you wouldn't exist.none of your friends would know you, no family members would know you, nothing.
since you couldn't speak for youself at that time...be happy your mom didn't abort you. now think about all those other babies and cell groups that can't speak for themselves yet.don't they deserve the same chance at life that you got yourself?

If people have a right to do what they want with their bodies then why not let people kill themselves and do drugs and alcohol. It their body and they are not hurting anyone.

Think you are a baby who's parents even thought about putting you in abortion. One you would feel unloved and unwanted by anyone. BUT my reason n theory is when you are doing abortion you are killing denying a right to a young person not even born to defend itself. It is sort of like hanging someone without a fair trial. Think what if you used condoms n everything and you still had a baby. Why would you even want to murder? How would you like it if I went up to you and said I'm going to murder you. I don't try to get into another persons buissness. I don't like seeing people ruin their lives it makes me want to cry as if it was me. I don't know why...I guess it's because I want them to believe there is someone out there who cares.
I believe abortion is wrong because it's murder. That's my PERSONAL opinion. You can't change that just like I can't change yours. As far as "caring about other women's fetuses," I DO care that my sister-in-law aborted 3 of my nieces or nephews. Those are the ones I never knew.
Thats a good question, me personally i dont get involved if any woman wants an abortion or not its truly up to them on what they want to do with there own lives so in that area i agree with you. However i dont believe in abortions unless absoloutly necessary, if you are caring a healthy fetus that turns into a baby why kill it ? Is it cause you made a mistake by not doing something in another why so cause of your mistake another life has to be harmed think of it like that if you dont mind, also in a way if the mother of the fetus was a rape victim or the fetus is unhealthy and its determined unhealthy than i would personally just have the abortion theres no reason to bring a child into the world that cant defend for himself he should rather go where he came from. And i am not to sure about the whole stem cell research i havent really got any details on it but if it is about saving lives than go for it i guess. As for the BIBLE and GOD thats your own opinion and i am not the one to sit there and tell you its wrong just like i said before i am not that type of person so you belive what you want. Yes i do believe in aliens no i have never seen one before and i hope i never do. The reason i believe in aliens is cause i just think there could be another life outside of this earth either far more intellegent than us or far more stupid than us, again thats my own opinion. I myself could never have a abortion.Do I think its murder no.Everyone has the right to do what they want with there body regardless of the government or religion.Most of these people saying its murder your killing your child, never stop to think about the children that die each year by there parents hands because they weren't wanted.How many newborns end up in garbage cans or a baby dies from shaken baby syndrome.I do believe if you going to have sex yes you should accept responsibility but just like they say thou shall not kill , thou shall not judge either.
I'm not going to argue whether abortion is wrong or not. But in response to your main question: people believe it's wrong because of their faith in God and the bible, because they believe he exists.
Because as you say "they have the right to do whatever they want" .And they have the right to express that belief, just as people have the right to express the opposite view on abortion, that it is a womens choice to do whatever she wants to her body.
I'm not saying people have to right to blow-up facilities that provide abortion or do something that extreme, but they can be entitled to their own opinion.
most people who say its wrong say so becuase they have been brainwashed by their religion.. most religions want people to have LOTS and LOTS of babies because this means more people are born into that religion and likely easier to get under control

funny thing is some pro lifers have bumper stickers saying "ALL LIFE IS IMPORTANT" but if that were the case why do they have dead bugs on their car grill? and why do they eat meat"

I do feel those pro lifers should be pushing for making birth control free if they are really worried about abortions.. and be willing to adopt crack babies..etc

Because someone's poor planning and fun shouldn't result in the destruction of life; if we have become more advanced than every other living species, this is how we show it? If you care about your body and don't want a pregnancy, then take the precaution necessary including sterilization. The only business that people are getting into is that of the aborted fetus who had the misfortunate to have an immature mother who didn't know how to protect against getting pregnant; someone who doesn't have the time, effort for the complication etc; you can't undo what you have done when maturity and time follows; what if there comes a day when you are walking and someone else has the money or position to take your life and organ - so what right? We are trying to speak for the one who can't - the dead fetus ; what about his body? what about his life? what about his right? You don't live in a bubble and if you did would you be happy?

I'm as confused as you are, since every time I ask they talk about "God" , "Jesus", "sin", "soul" etc.
It is ur own choice and nothing more. No one has an opinion in the situation except for urself. If u feel it is not the right time, then so be it. U can't go by what everyone thinks or what they say. Bottom line,it's ur life not theirs.
