I'm 22 have a three month old baby and his dad, or better said the one that got me pregnant left me. HELP?

I was three months pregnant I think when the guy who said he was going to marry me left me for a woman that has loads of money. I met this gynocologist and he has helped me loads. After he performed my c-section, things started changing and he asked me to look for another doctor cause he wants to date me. We have talked a lot. He became my friend and he really helped me when I needed to be helped. He loves my baby. He hasn't being disrespectful at all. He's not a creeper. He says he really likes me and I really like him. I think he's the best. He's a lot older than I am but I don't think that matters, but the most important thing for me it's my baby, I want everything for him and I just want to do what it is right for my child and I. Do you think it would be all right to date him?

Just remember, his job is to look up girls skirts. Don't get jealous. =) You'll be just fine. You have the right attitude about doing whats best for your baby. Your child needs a father figure in his/her life. Your baby will be better off as he/she grows into its early years.

As long as you found another doctor like he suggested, it would be fine. It is unethical for a doctor to date a patient. It sounds like he is really interested, and if you are as well, then go for it! Good luck to you.

Why not date for awhile and see what happens. You won't know if you don't try.
After seeing all the not so nice stuff that comes along with babies and well just being a gynocologist in general, if he still wants to date you I say go for it =O. I think he did the right thing asking you to see a new doctor, from what you have said he seems ok.
Since he told you to find another doctor and remove the professional relationship - it's ok to date him.

However, seriously think, let's say he's 45, what does he want with a 22 year old (besides feeling young again). If he's going through his midlife crisis, you might just be filling a gap for him.

Find out if he's married, any kids, et al, before you start going out with him. Don't let him be with your baby - not until you're sure that you're going to be in a permanent relatoinship with him - the bonding the 3 month old will have with him can be hard if he goes away.
Is this doctor single & free to date? You don't mention that aspect.

If he is free, and his intentions are 'honourable' then I see nothing wrong in dating him even if he is a lot older than you.
