Is it possible for a baby to look like his non-biological father?
Answer:
I don't know about the seizure. That is a medical problem, But it is not uncommon for a child to look like a parent even though he/she isn't the biological parents. Many adopted children look like their parents.
have you tried to get a DNA test? on the kids and the Father(s)
well this couple i know can't have kids so they adopted a girl and a boy. and it's freaky, cuz the little girl looks like the mom and the lil boy looks like the dad! it could be a chemical thing that your baby is getting from your husband. my sister used to have seizures when she had a fever, my mom took her to the doc right away...might wanna do that.
There is NO WAY, repeat NO WAY for a person who is not the biological father of a child to pass his genes on to the child. The kid could pick up mannerisms just through interaction, but that's it. Anything else is just coincidence.
I've read that people will mimic the facial expressions of the people they're around, and if he's the father figure in your son's life, it's not surprising that he would act like your husband. As for the genetic relation, that's simply a twist of fate. Your baby's father or yourself carry some gene that has affected your son. Having a husband with the same abnormality is a matter of chance.
I was 4 months pregnant when I met my boyfriend. My son (who has never met his biological father) is now almost 8 months old, and while he looks most like me, he resembles my boyfriend sometimes, too. They have the same eyebrows, ears, and he is shy just like my boyfriend (who, in all respects, is dad). I do believe it is entirely possible for a baby to look like a parent that isn't biological, as I have seen children who are adopted resemble their adoptive parents. Scientists think that a baby looks like it's father at birth to promote father/baby bonding.. I think that a baby comes to resemble an "adoptive" parent for the same reason, to promote bonding. to me, it's the same as when 2 women who are friends live together, or spend enough time together, have periods that coincide. I have a friend who gave birth one day before her best friend. I think it's ingrained in our genetic code to become more like the people we spend the most time with.
Science might not prove what I think, but that's my opinion on the science aspect of it.
