How can a woman have 14 ,15,16 plus babies? I have two and they are a big handfull.?

my grandma had 13! i have 1, i want more but not that many!
My ex had 23 aunts and uncles (counting his mother would make it 24 kids his grandmother produced...none of which were multiple births, none of which were adopted.) I've got one son and he's a ball of energy as it is...lol.
its either bravery or nuts.
i know several couples who have at least 8 kids each. they are very organized.
i have three kids and i dont think i could handle more than about 6

Certain families believe in having more members as they create a sense of jovial crowd. I believe that only older generation like to have a lot of children. They hope to feel a sense of security when they are old as there will be a few of them to take care of them. Probability that 2 out of 14 children will really take care of them.
There is a family that the Discovery Health Channel profiles that has 16 children. They are a Christian family, and drive around in a bus! They built a house pretty much by themselves. The older children help out w/ the younger children lessining the load for the mother and they all have assigned chores. My second one is on the way, and I don't want anymore just b/c I don't want to contribute to overpopulating the world. I guess these women really love children.
Who knows...My mama and papa had 21 kids together.
One is enough but 2 is plenty.

I often ponder the same thought. I have no idea. I have 3 children & i'm run off my feet & have trouble coping at times. I just don't know how any of the children would have a real bond with their mother when she has sooooooo many to look after! I commend these women.
