Why dont babies poop in the whomb...but do almost immediately after birth?
Answer:
babies do "poop" in the womb. The first stool is called meconium and usually doesn't occur until after birth unless the fetus is in distress ( ex: overdue or long labor etc.) There is a risk for the baby aspirating the meconium at birth.
