Talk to your Dr. It is usually around six weeks but your Dr. knows best for your situation.

Have you went for your 3 week check up yet? They normally let you know when you can have sex...but I called my sister (I don't have any kids) she just had a baby 2 weeks ago and she old me her doctor told her 4 to 6 weeks..but that depends on how you are doing...and things like was it a natural birth...did you have a c section...sorry I cannot be more help but for things like that.. I would at least call my doctor and ask.
I would imagine as soon as you feel ready. But a quick call to the doc wouldn't hurt.

we waited almost 5...
it was all i could do to make her wait that long...
i was scared she would b hurt...
when we told our Dr,she laffed & sed it all realy depends on the woman,but atleast a month is smart
6 weeks from the time you gave birth unless your OB tells you otherwise. You are almost there
you could of after your first day it just depends on our sore you are as it wont do you no harm so go and enjoy but keep the screams down as you dont wana wake the baby
It's great that you want intimacy with your partner so soon! Many woman just don't feel like sex for a couple months afterward. You know the doctor told you he wants to clear you at the check up before you do it, but realisticly, what man wants to wait for you for a month and a half? You go ahead an do it when it feels good...as soon as the blood stops. If you bleed during or after...maybe its safer to wait a week. We did it this way both times and the doc will never know the difference.
Speak to your OB. Mine told me to wait 6 weeks since I did have a little tearing. However we couldnt wait and "did it" at 4 weeks. Listen to your body and take it slowly .. Good luck ;)
