Leapster TV?
Answer:
Wonderful system. We use it to help my son with his homework. When he has to work on his letters we play the dors game and when he alot of number stuff to do we use the Cars game. we all enjoy it.
I bought for my daughter for Chirstmas too. Very smart choice...I even find myself playing along too. (lol)
We don't have the attachment for TV, just the basic Leapster. Santa left it for my almost 6 yo. All three of my kids are enjoying it. (Almost 4, almost 6 and almost 8 years) I think we might buy the system to hook it to the TV later on. So far they are doing a good job just sharing the hand held. (8 year old has his own Gameboy anyway.)
We have the Letterpiller game and both of the Dora games. She'll be getting more games for her birthday at the beginning of March.
My son has one as well. I almost got the v-smile but I noticed with the v-smile you had to buy a whole new game system in order to play the older games. With the leapster, you only have to buy one system and the games all interact with each other. You can buy games for the handheld and the tv and use them together.
My son absolutely loves it. We use it as our "special time" together when my youngest goes to sleep. It teaches them to write as well.
