Does anyone know of any health insurance company that will cover?

a pregnant woman immeditely and not have a waiting period? I do not qualify for medicaid

Answer:
Emergency Medi-Cal is the only thing that I know of. It is not the same as regular Medi-cal, and you can have a higher amount of income, but not too high. It will cover you only for pregnancy and will expire 6 weeks after delivery. They have different options, there is full cost, which they cover all the costs and if your income is slightly higher, then there is share of cost, in which you pay a small monthly payment and a percentage of treatment. It is not the same thing as regular medi-cal which is for only the Low-income. My SIL husband earns very good money, and she qualified for the share of cost plan.

You may be dealing with what insurance companys call "pre-existing" condition. Even if you were covered immediately your pregnancy may be excluded due to you already having that condition prior to your coverage date. Check again with the social worker at the Medicaid office. There are many programs available, and it is a goal of the state funded programs to have healthy babies. It may just cover during the time of your pregnancy, and drop you off after you deliver. Please check into this again. Pre-natal care is a high proirity in these programs. Good Luck.
Most insurance companies require a 10 month enrollment period BEFORE a pregnancy.

I think you are out of luck here.

Here is a couple I found by doing a google search. I don't know what they cost or anything but I hope they help. Good luck

Also.. The hospital will usually charge less for a uninsured delivery than an insured one and they will set up a payment plan with you. So that is always an option too.
Hi, definitely!! There’s a company out there who’s helped a lot of people who do not have and need affordable health benefits. They cover regular office visits, specialists like orthodontists, any pre-existing conditions like diabetes and pregnancy and even ancillary care and hospital advocacy with no waiting period. Definitely check them out. It basically includes everything you need help paying for. There's no high premiums, deductibles, co-pays, waiting periods, claims forms or anything like that at all. They can save you up to 80% on your out of pocket expenses for so much less than all the other companies. It could end up saving you a lot of $$ over traditional insurance. They have a medical plan as well as a dental plan that both include vision, prescription and chiropractic benefits as well. They have over 400,000 providers nationwide as well, so it is available almost everywhere. They are a wonderful company and are members of the Better Business Bureau. They were even featured on FOX News just a couple weeks ago. I know several people who have benefits through them, and everything they say about them is nothing but positive. It’s just crazy how much people are shelling out for their healthcare. I then also got benefits through them and love to be able to tell other people about how much money they can save. Try this website and you can check out the specifics and providers in your area. http://www.everyonebenefits.com/40424269... If your preferred provider isn't on there, he can be added. I hope this helps you and you find what you need. You can email me personally at airforcecontractnegotiator@ yahoo .com (we're military) if you have any questions. Best of luck and happy new year!!
