Boy am I tired of hearing it too. Or the question "I had unprotected sex and im not on BC but it was the day after my period, am I preggo?"
Its like geeze whay the hell are you wasting youtr time on here asking us when you need to take real responsibility and use protection, get yourself on birth control and alwyas have a pregnancy test under the sink for the in cases.
THe ones who are mothers are fine with me cause im sure they have a bazillion /'s about the stages of pregnancy, but i am in agreeance with you

Its not the people who are TRYING to get pregnant that are so annoying, its the teenagers who ask "can i be pregnant?" "do you think iam pregnant?" "can i be pregnant if..."
BUt in all cases, if YOU dont know you're pregnant, theres no way WE can tell just by reading your story. Thats what tests and doctors are for. lol.

I feel the same but sometimes if you are ttc the wait is painful.. and you want other mums prospective on wether they had the same symptoms you do or if its all in your head I think they are just looking for reassurance

You are certainly entitled to feel that way. I guess it helps to think of how excited or nervous these people must be. When I was pregnant with my second child I wanted to share it with everyone. And perhaps some people are really uninformed-- they really are asking the question of how to know.
So you have a lot of friends who ask you if they're pregnant? Do they have unprotected sex and then freak out because their period is late? If they're having sex without protection, miss their period, and start feeling sick, then yeah, they're probably pregnant. I can understand you being sick of hearing about it...tell them that while they're at the store picking up the pregnancy test, there's a selection of products called 'condoms' that they may want to consider buying as well.

Ya know this same thought has popped in my head almost as much as that damn question has popped up on the board. Enough already people!! There are tests to answer that question...if you aren't satisfied with the results of a home test...GO TO A FREAKIN' DOCTOR NOT FeelBaby.com! And quite honestly, when you read the details of some of these questions, it is quite obvious these people shouldn't even be having sex in the first place!!

It drives me crazy too. Every once in a while I go into a bunch of them and just answer "take a test". It is the only answer and it gets me two points. If they are crazy enough to ask the question. Then I will answer 'take a test".

I think people keep asking that question because it only costs you a few points to ask it, while the home pregnancy test is $1.00 at the dollar store.

okay i was pretty sick of the question too but now i think i may be pregnant and i want advice. i don't want to take a test and get all worked up or have my boyfriend find it and freak out. and also the chances of me being pregnant and being on the pill AND using condoms faithfully my chances are NIL. but i want advice and i want to see if i could possibly be pregnant despite the odds. and see if anyone else has been in my shoes. so i know how scary it can be to not know and just to want a loving voice to comfort me. so if they bother you just don't answer them, ignore them. someday you may be asking and want help.

If you are tired of hearing about the pregnancy questions, then how about you go to a different section... if you are in the Pregnancy and Parenting Section, then expect to hear questions about pregnanc, otherwise quit complaining.
